Baystate Cardiac Rehab has been a cornerstone of cardiovascular recovery in Western Massachusetts for over 15 years. As part of the Baystate Health system — one of the region's largest and most trusted hospital networks — we bring together advanced cardiology, certified exercise physiologists, and compassionate nursing into a single, coordinated program.
Our facility on Main Street is equipped with the latest cardiac monitoring technology, ensuring every session is both safe and effective. We believe that recovery isn't just about physical rehabilitation — it's about restoring your confidence, your independence, and your quality of life.
Whether you're recovering from a heart attack, cardiac surgery, or a new diagnosis of heart failure, our team meets you where you are and walks beside you every step of the way.
Every program is physician-referred and supervised by certified cardiac rehabilitation specialists, with sessions tailored to your stage of recovery.
Begins during your hospital stay. We work alongside your cardiology team to initiate safe, monitored activity and education before discharge.
The core of our program. Three supervised sessions per week for 8–12 weeks, combining cardiac exercise, education, and risk factor modification.
After completing your outpatient program, continue with guided maintenance sessions and ongoing education to protect your heart long-term.
The words of those who've walked this path speak louder than any brochure ever could.
"After my bypass surgery, I was terrified to move. The therapists at Baystate didn't just rebuild my strength — they rebuilt my confidence. Six weeks later, I was walking my dog again without fear."
"I thought I'd never exercise again after my heart attack. The monitored sessions gave me a safe space to push myself — and the nutrition counseling changed how I eat for life. This program saved me."
"The group sessions were a surprise gift — connecting with others going through the same thing made me feel less alone. The staff treated us like family, not numbers. I can't recommend them enough."
